William's new obsession - dogs

We don't have any pets, so William is fascinated with any animal, but at the moment, his focus seems to be on dogs!

We visit friends and he just wants to see the dog.

We go looking for houses and he just wants to interact with the dogs, unless of course they come towards him, then he backs away.

We visit grandparents, he hears dogs bark and mimicks them by "woofing" at the door.

We give him a brochure with a photo of a dog, and he "woofs".

He goes to childcare, and hears a dog barking on a cd, and goes over to the windows and "woofs" then goes to the door and "woofs".  Apparently he spends 10 minutes doing this!!  What a laugh.

Looks like we might have to get him a dog when we move into our own house....

Enjoying Easter weekend in Toombullup State Forest, north of Mansfield.

He had been unwell earlier in the weekend, but was now back to his normal self, walking to get his pooh bear blanky.

William's first birthday

William's first birthday this year fell on Easter Monday, so he was lucky to celebrate it a number of times!!

 

Firstly he received pressents from people in Bushtrek 4wd club whilst we were camping.

Then everyone on the Bushtrek 4wd club trip sung happy birthday to him on his birthday, at lunchtime in Mansfield.

 

Then he went to his cousins place for dinner, and they had put up decorations, bought him presents, AND he had another birthday cake, with happy birthday sung to him again on his birthday.

 

We bought a helium balloon for each child to take home with their "loot bag" from his birthday party at Kidspace.

And finally William celebrated his birthday with all his friends at Smartie Pants child care.  Apparently he was a little scared of the sparkler at first, but then enjoyed all the attention of everyone singing happy birthday to him!!

A lot has happened in January, with Warren away in Alice Springs, we moved house with the help of some awesome Uncles and an equally as awesome Aunty!  Now it's time to settle down!

Christmas time

Well Christmas is done and duster and William was a bit sick, so it was an interesting one for him!
We started out having Christmas a few weeks early at Grandma and Grandpa's place, then went to hospital Christmas eve because William had a high temperature, went to Grandpa's for Christmas lunch and had to cancel Christmas dinner with Oma.
Then for New Years weekend we headed down to Grandma and Grandpa's in hope that the sea air would help..
